"What sets WEALTH at work apart is its personal financial coaching. Employees can continue the conversation after education sessions, whether they need clarification on a topic or want to explore a subject in more depth."
Hyde is one of the UK’s leading housing associations their mission is to provide homes and communities that people are proud of, aligning with our vision of "a great home for everyone.”
Recognising the growing importance of financial wellbeing, Hyde has made it a core part of its people strategy. Hyde has partnered with WEALTH at work for almost a decade to support employees with their financial wellbeing. Through this long-standing partnership, Hyde has been able to build a structured and impactful programme of financial education and support for employees.
Delivering a comprehensive financial wellbeing programme
WEALTH at work delivers a programme of financial education sessions designed to help employees build confidence in managing their money and making informed financial decisions. These sessions cover a wide range of topics, including savings and investments, family finances, budgeting, borrowing, and debt management.
Working closely with WEALTH at work, Hyde has implemented a structured annual programme of sessions, carefully timed to maximise engagement. The programme delivered strong engagement and measurable results. A 38% increase in employee knowledge was recorded following the sessions, with average scores rising from 2.92 to 4.08 out of 5. Attendance rates reached up to 100%, with family finance sessions achieving full participation. Feedback has also been consistently positive, with satisfaction scores averaging over 4 out of 5 across all sessions.
A key strength of the programme is its combination of financial education and personalised support, enabling employees to attend group sessions, before accessing one-to-one financial guidance from personal financial coaches. This approach ensures that individuals can explore their own circumstances privately, while still benefiting from expert-led financial education.
The sessions were very well received by employees, who described them as:
“Well presented and clear.”
“Great Financial Coach with good delivery style which was easy to follow.”
“Very good session”
“Really enthusiastic facilitator!”
Natalie Quilter, Head of Reward, Wellbeing and Benefits (Reward and Benefit Lead) from Hyde says: "I think it's really important for employers to invest in financial wellbeing. In recent years, it's moved from being a 'nice to have' to an essential part of supporting employee wellbeing, performance and long-term engagement in the workplace.
What sets WEALTH at work apart is its personal financial coaching. Employees can continue the conversation after education sessions, whether they need clarification on a topic or want to explore a subject in more depth. The feedback we've received from employees has been extremely positive and has given me the confidence to invest further in the WEALTH at work offering."
